Rafting Republic is the beating heart of river sports in the Aosta Valley,
where you can enjoy carefree moments, from relaxation to pure adrenaline.
We are located in Aymavilles, on a 3,500 square meter green area, right next to the Dora Baltea river.
This is where you can enjoy your adventure, accompanied by expert guides.
Our adventure began in 2003, when, almost by chance, our paths crossed and we decided to make our dream come true:
to turn a shared passion into a full-time job.
This is how the Rafting Republic Center in the Aosta Valley was born.
ABOUT US: expert instructors and guides at the Rafting Republic Center
Our group is made up of professional instructors and guides from the Italian Rafting Federation (F.I.Raft), who have been organizing rafting, kayaking, and hydrospeed trips along the Dora Baltea, the river that symbolizes the Aosta Valley, for over 16 years.
The team includes prominent representatives of the Federation, with two federal instructors, a federal councilor, and a member of the National Training Commission, demonstrating our expertise and ongoing commitment to the growth of river sports in Italy.
Why are we river guides?
Our passion for adventure in rough waters is the thread that unites us and makes our group a close-knit team. Sharing the challenges and pleasures of river navigation gives us immense, invaluable energy.
We have created a group capable of transmitting energy, safety, and fun to anyone who comes aboard with us. We share the spirit of river guides and love to share with others the energy that only a river descent can convey.

Family Rafting
for ages 6 and up or 110 cm tall, ideal for those who want to involve the whole family.
Advanced Rafting
most intense and adrenaline-filled experience, dedicated to those who want to really put themselves to the test.
Kayaking and Canoeing
lessons and descents for those who prefer to paddle independently.
Classic Rafting
for adults, panoramic views of landscapes and castles, perfect for beginners.
Hydrospeed
an exciting experience with a water bob and fins directly in the rapids.
Canyoning orienteering
for those who love to combine different outdoor sports.

Teaching lake
The lake, an integral part of the Center’s summer life, is used for rafting, hydrospeed, and kayaking lessons.
It is the perfect place to learn and relax between descents.
Bar and snack bar
“La Maison d'Été”
At the rafting center, you will find the La Maison d’Été bar/snack bar/grill, serving excellent grilled meat and a varied menu of hot and cold dishes. Also suitable for children.
Valle d'Aosta by night at the Rafting Center
Our friends who enjoy evening aperitifs can relax and enjoy excellent drinks accompanied by music.
Free barbecue area at the Rafting Republic Center
We provide a free, fully equipped area for those who participate in our group activities, where you can organize barbecues with friends. You can buy meat at one of the local shops or supermarkets and enjoy a feast with whoever you want.
Everything is already set up for you:
wood already cut;
a refrigerator where you can store your meat;
tables and chairs, including indoor seating in case of bad weather.
What do we ask?
Just that once you have finished eating, you leave the area clean and tidy for those who come after you.

How does RAFTING work?
Every activity is well organized, and we will guide you step by step through the various stages. Here’s what you’ll do with us.
Arrival and welcome
At reception, you will complete a few quick formalities: checking your registration forms and paying the balance of your participation fee.
Technical briefing also in English, French, and Spanish.
The briefing includes an explanation of behavior, safety rules, and how to handle unexpected events before going on the river:
- behavior to observe on the river;
- safety rules;
- how to handle unexpected events.
The briefing is mandatory even for those who are not new to rafting and is also conducted in English, French and Spanish.
Clothing: equipment provided by Rafting Republic
The technical equipment we provide is selected based on the characteristics of the activity and, above all, those of the Dora Baltea river:
- 5 mm wetsuit and neoprene shoes and boots to combat the water temperature;
- life jacket and helmet;
The equipment is approved and suitable for the Dora Baltea.
NB: For hydrospeed, a bob and fins will be used instead of a paddle.
Dry run
Before actually boarding, the rafting commands are simulated on the dinghy (forward, stop, backward, weight to the right/left, hold on, on the bottom), learning the basic techniques in complete safety.
For hydrospeed activities
In addition to the theoretical part, once dressed, you will dive into the lake to learn how to use the fins and steer the hydrospeed correctly.
Transportation
With our “assault vehicles,” we transport the group to the embarkation point, where each participant will help us unload the equipment and carry the raft to the river (you wanted the bike…).
River descent
Last thing before boarding: the guide checks the equipment you are wearing and then… off we go! During the descent, you will refine the techniques you have just learned. Learning is usually very quick.
Return to the center and relaxation
Once the adventure is over, you will still feel the excitement on your skin reaching the stars!
Return to the center to change, rinse your equipment, and relax with a hot shower in the green area or at the bar with a post-adventure drink.
