White water rafting is a challenging recreational outdoor activity using an inflatable raft to navigate a river .Each raft carries between 3 and 7 people and is steered by a professional guide from the Italian Rafting Federation. You will feel the emotion of travel down river amongst waves, water slides and rapids created by white water. The river we navigate is the Dora Baltea, surrounded by the beautiful landscapes and mountains of Valle d’ Aosta.
White water rafting is a safe group activity you can share with friends; each one will actively contribute to the adventure! Adrenaline, fun and interaction are the ingredients for a perfect descent on the rapids.
How it Works
As soon as you arrive at our sport center you will be welcomed by our professional staff at the reception. After the registration, our rafting guides (all with the Italian Rafting Federation brevet) will take care of you. You will be briefed about safety regulation and paddling techniques.
HOW MANY PEOPLE WE NEED TO DO RAFTING?
It doesn’t matter how many you are! If you are not enough to make a group of at least 4 people we will put you on a raft with other people (it could be a nice excuse to meet new friends…as we like to say: we are all on the same boat!). On the other hand, if you are more than 6/7 we will split you on different rafts.
WHAT TO BRING
After the briefing you will be given the technical equipment which comply to international standards and in accordance to the Italian Rafting Federation regulation: long john (5mm for rafting and 7mm for hydrospeed), neoprene boots, splash jacket, helmet and lifejacket.
Micro pile to wear under the wetsuit (in case of bad weather)
Elastic band for your glasses (it-s ok to wear soft contact lenses)
Whatever you need for showering after the activity (we provide hot showers)
